Logistics Operators – Broadmeadow Mine (DIDO roles)
CPH Mining & Civil is seeking experienced Logistics Operators to support our long-term Surface Civil and Surface Logistics contract at BHP's Broadmeadow Mine.
You'll play a critical role delivering materials, supplies, pods, stone dust and essential underground support items safely and efficiently across site.
About the role
As a Logistics Operator, you will work closely with Broadmeadow's BMA Supervisors to complete daily logistics tasks across the surface of the mine.
Your role ensures underground production groups receive timely delivery of all materials and equipment needed for safe, continuous operations.
This is a hands-on position for operators who are organised, safety-focused and confident working in a high-tempo mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Staging, loading and delivery of supplies and materials
Transport of pods, mag bins, MG8/MG9 stone dust bins
Operation of the QDS Transport Loader
Escort bulk stone dust and Solsenic (no ordering)
Unloading/backloading trucks (e.g., longwall parts)
Ensure all work is completed within allocated timeframes and complies with Broadmeadow SHMS.
Conduct pre-starts, complete defect reporting and follow site maintenance protocols.
Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and field leadership activities.
Perform area inspections with BMA Supervisors and follow documented risk controls.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in mining logistics, materials handling or similar.
Experience with surface logistics tasks on a coal mine (highly regarded).
Australian Driver's Licence
Heavy Rigid RII or HR Driver's Licence
High Risk Work Licence (LF)
RIIHAN301 Conduct Forklift Operations
Isocyanate Medical (CPH can coordinate if you don't already have one)
Strong understanding of mine safety systems, SHMS, risk assessments and legislated obligations
