About the Role
As the EL1 Technical Security Risk Advisor, you will lead the planning and delivery of Security Risk Assessments, site audits, and technical assurance activities. You'll provide expert advice on physical and electronic security systems, develop national security documentation, and guide consistent risk-informed practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and report on Security Risk Assessments and audits nationally
* Identify and manage threats, vulnerabilities, and control gaps
* Maintain national site risk registers and escalate high-risk issues
* Provide authoritative advice on electronic and physical security systems
* Design and oversee testing regimes to validate control effectiveness
* Develop and maintain Site Security Plans and assurance reports
* Uplift policy, procedures, and operational documentation

Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in physical, technical, or protective security roles
* Proven ability to deliver Security Risk Assessments and assurance programs
* Strong understanding of PSPF, ISO 31000, and ASIO T4 guidance
* Skilled in developing technical specifications and security documentation
* Knowledge of access control, alarms, CCTV, and system integration
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* Ability to manage complex work programs and meet competing priorities
