LV MECHANICS / DIESEL MECHANICS / FITTERS- LOCAL/DIDO/FIFO
BDS Mechanical Repairs AUS Pty Ltd is seeking experienced LV Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and Diesel Fitters to join our expanding team. We offer full-time and casual positions across local, DIDO, and FIFO roles, with flexible roster options designed to support a strong work–life balance.

We provide comprehensive mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding repairs in our workshops and on-site. Operating 22 workshops and over 160 field service units across Queensland and Western Australia, we support more than 600,000 km² of coverage to keep your operations running.
Your duties will include:
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General Repairs/maintenance works – LVs/4x4s, Trucks & Trailers
* Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Earthmoving and mobile plant experience a bonus
* Checking vehicle lighting systems
* Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
The successful candidates will possess the following:
* Relevant Trade Qualification
* Valid license
* Diagnostic experience
* Good communication skills
* Strong fault finding skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
