This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain valuable industry experience.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in optimizing plant performance and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipmentWhat you'll be doingAs a Graduate Chemical Engineer, you will:Monitor and maintain equipment to achieve maximum efficiency under safe operating conditions.Ensure materials and equipment used meet specifications.Diagnose malfunctions in chemical plants and implement corrective actions.Plan and execute laboratory operations to develop new materials and fabrication procedures.Review product failure data and conduct laboratory tests to determine and resolve issues.Prepare daily plant performance reports for ManagementUnderstand plant processes, including P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), process descriptions, and process technology.Apply material and energy balance calculations, and estimate heat loads for various equipment.Utilize simulation software to prepare plant models.What we're looking forA recently completed degree in Chemical Engineering or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityEffective communication and teamwork skillsA keen interest in sustainable and innovative chemical processesRelevant internships or work experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAbout usLiquid Fertiliser Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of innovative liquid fertiliser products for the agricultural industry.
