Villa Romana, a Cairns esplanade staple for 26 years known for Italian cuisine and warm hospitality, is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our passionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate front-of-house staff during service
* Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure
* Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures
* Maintain high standards of presentation, service, and cleanliness
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
* Assist with roster management and training of new team members
* Work closely with owners on menu updates, events, and venue improvements
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a fast‑paced restaurant or hospitality venue
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A genuine passion for Italian food, wine, and hospitality
* Availability for a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts
* Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
