Job Description:
The Clinical Governance Advisor role involves overseeing and supporting all clinical governance aspects across CatholicCare NT's support services. This includes providing clinical advice on policies and procedures, projects, reports, and data interpretation to contribute to quality improvement processes, risk management systems, and the overarching clinical governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical advice on policies and procedures, projects, reports, and data interpretation
* Contribute to quality improvement processes, risk management systems, and the clinical governance framework
* Support the organization's focus on Clinical Governance and implement well-informed practice
* Manage clinical risks associated with safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Formal qualification as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Mental Health Professional, registered with relevant boards
* Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging in accreditation processes
* Experience in developing and implementing organizational or system-level clinical governance
* Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
* High-level knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to safeguarding children, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, and complex trauma
