About the Role
An opportunity exists for a Senior Project Controls Engineer specialising in Change Control. You will play a key role in providing financial insight, analytical governance, and robust change management across a technically complex, multi-billion-dollar construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead quarterly project forecasting cycles
* Drive the identification, development, and assessment of cost trends, including estimating and impact analysis
* Own and manage the project change control process, ensuring changes are captured, assessed, approved, and reported accurately
* Integrate change management with cost control, risk management, forecasting, trends, and claims processes
* Develop and maintain cost monitoring and control standards, systems, and reporting frameworks
* Prepare and present change-related analysis, reports, and recommendations to senior internal and client stakeholders
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project personnel on change management processes and best practice
* Support the development and delivery of formal and on-the-job training related to change control
* Perform non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and cost studies using historical data and statistical techniques
* Identify cost trends and variances requiring management attention and propose corrective actions
* Prepare discipline-specific budgets, cost allocations, and detailed cost reports in line with approved standards
* Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment across all cost and change reporting outputs
Systems & Tools
* Strong capability in SAP or similar ERP systems
* Experience with project controls or cost management platforms
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience with Power BI and data visualisation tools
