We are seeking an experienced Senior Assurance Advisor to join our client's Risk and Internal Audit team on a full-time temporary basis. This role provides high level support across Quality Management Systems, risk management processes, and internal assurance functions.
This position is ideal for a quality, audit, or compliance specialist with strong skills in document control, process improvement and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in maintaining the Quality Management System, supporting organisational compliance, and delivering training across the agency.
Your new role
As a Senior Assurance Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
* Provide expert advice and support on the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) and risk management processes.
* Manage the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS processes, including compliance, reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
* Provide independent quality control over QMS documentation, ensuring alignment with relevant frameworks.
* Develop, review and deliver QMS and change management training and awareness sessions to staff.
* Analyse operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance performance, compliance and quality outcomes.
* Assist with broader Risk and Audit activities as required.
* Ensure compliance with all business policies and procedures, including financial, HR, communication and information management requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience reviewing management system documentation (Policies, SOPs, Work Instructions).
* Experience working within formal management systems, including change management processes.
* Proven experience using an Enterprise Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and understanding its role in document control.
* Strong understanding of organisational risk management and compliance frameworks.
* Relevant training or qualifications in quality management systems.
* Experience developing or supporting the delivery of internal training.
* Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and engage with staff at all levels.
