About The Role

We are seeking a professional, friendly and proactive Receptionist / Business Services Support Officer to join our Canberra office. This is a varied and hands‐on role that sits at the heart of the firm, providing high‐quality reception, facilities and business services support to our people, clients and visitors. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the office while delivering a welcoming and professional first impression. This role is based in the office Monday – Friday, however there is the option to work flexibly across these days. Chat to us about what may work for you!

Some Of The Daily Activities You Will Perform Include

* Providing reception cover daily and maintaining the appearance of reception and foyer areas
* Greeting guests, visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
* Professionally responding to the needs of callers, and ensuring calls are redirected and messages passed on
* Coordinating online meeting room booking requests
* Providing support for meetings, seminars and office functions, including AV setup and catering assistance
* Assisting with the preparation and catering for internal weekly lunches and client functions
* Schedule and monitoring of incoming and outgoing courier bookings
* Distribution and sorting of incoming mail and accepting any deliveries
* Ensuring all internal print rooms stationery supplies and printers are adequately stocked
* Court filing and document delivery to court or clients premises
* Assisting with any additional administrative duties as necessary.

About You

Given the importance we place on client service, we are looking for someone who is confident, well presented and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You are flexible, have a positive 'can do' attitude and are friendly by nature.

* Ideally 1 year's office or customer service experience, preferably working within a professional services environment
* Professional presentation, reliable and well organised
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* The ability to work autonomously and be a team player
* Sound computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word & Excel
* A dedicated and strong work ethic and a keen interest to learn.
