Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill a key role in our Learning Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational standards and supporting our staff to develop and implement Individual Plans for each student.
The ideal candidate will have recognised University or Tertiary teaching qualifications, registration with NESA, and proven ability to collaborate effectively with others. Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and support staff to develop and implement Individual Plans for each student
* Recruit, induct, and train staff, and provide ongoing support and supervision
* Manage staff operational issues and support the Principal with performance management
* Assist the Principal with daily operational running of the school
Requirements
* Recognised University or Tertiary teaching qualifications (as determined by NESA)
* Registration with NESA
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team support
* Experience working with students on the autism spectrum
