Hockey WA is looking for a design and content superstar to join the team and help promote the sport of hockey throughout Western Australia.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, this is a unique opportunity to apply your photography, videography and graphic design skills to amplify the reach of one of WA's fastest growing sports.
The Content Coordinator is responsible for growing the Hockey WA brand through the production and delivery of branded marketing material and best practice photography and videography initiatives.
Based at Hockey WA, Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University, this role is an exciting opportunity for a creative thinker with an eye for detail and a love of storytelling to put their skills to the test to grow the sport of hockey in WA.
Part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities
* Video and photo content production, including the planning of shoots, sourcing, managing permissions, and development of project briefs in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
* Design, develop and update organisational content and collateral across print and digital channels, including; presentations, flyers, posters, documents, social media and website graphics, eDMs, event programs, broadcast graphics etc
* Develop branded templates to enable the organisation to create their own simple branded assets.
* Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the creation and delivery of digital content across all utilised platforms.
* Contribute to Hockey WA's marketing strategy and creative campaigns to further promote the sport of hockey in WA.
* Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners and members) delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Essential criteria
* Experience in content production, including photography, videography and graphic design
* Strong attention to detail, project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro), Canva and an understanding of digital marketing platforms (including Mailchimp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, website CMS)
* Ability to manage and direct photography and videography shoots with a wide variety of talent (from elite athletes to children)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Understanding of brand management principles and the importance of maintaining brand consistency.
* Degree or qualification in a relevant field (e.g., graphic design, digital content production) or equivalent work experience.
Terms
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), 12-month fixed term contract position with possibility of extension. Working hours and days are negotiable. Work from home one day a week option is also available. Due to the nature of the role, out of hours and weekend work will be required.
