About the Role Join a regional road maintenance crew in Tamworth supporting the safety and reliability of local road networks. This hands-on position involves road repairs, signage installation, debris removal, traffic support and general maintenance activities. Position : Road Worker Pay Rate: $43.91 per hour super Location : Tamworth NSW Roster : 9 Day Fortnight Duration : 3 Months Start : ASAP Tickets: White Card, Traffic Control (or willing to obtain), Worker's on Foot, Class C Driver's Licence or above. Key Responsibilities Perform road and pavement maintenance works Remove debris and repair road surfaces Install and maintain road signage Operate hand and power tools safely Assist with traffic management activities Conduct equipment checks and site inspections Follow WHS policies and procedures Support emergency and maintenance response works About You Experience in road maintenance, civil construction or labouring Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Strong safety focus and team attitude Ability to use hand and power tools Mandatory Requirements White Card Workers on Foot (WOF) Current Driver Licence (Class C or above) Traffic Control tickets (TCR IMP) or willingness to obtain at own expense Ability to pass a Police Check and two work references Valid Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) Our Client Our client is a major NSW Government organisation responsible for maintaining critical transport infrastructure across the state.
