Our client works with a wide variety of specialised customers including in telecoms, energy, transport, logistics, and infrastructure. The role will be required to be in the office 5-days per week with flexibility and free parking provided.
Job Description
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
* Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the implementation and optimisation of SAP systems.
* Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals.
* Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
* Strong experience working with SAP systems.
* Proven expertise in financial management within a blue collar environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
