Job Description
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of project management expertise. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, and delivering select high-impact projects. This involves overseeing all facets of project management, including change management, from initial discovery and scoping through to successful delivery, embedment and evaluation.
Your responsibilities will encompass project management, change management, budget and resource planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and governance. You will need to lead the scoping, planning, execution and change management of key projects by establishing clear objectives, maintaining stakeholder communication and engagement, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including objectives, scope, budgets, and risks, while securing necessary approvals and engaging third-party providers as needed. Regularly reporting on project progress to stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and conducting post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities are essential tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Change Management, or alternate relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
* Previous experience in project management, with an understanding of project management and change management principles.
* Highly developed communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders, prepare concise business cases, and deliver engaging presentations to senior management and project teams.
* Advanced analytical skills, including advanced excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot), data validation, and dynamic charting.
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to be resourceful and use initiative.
* Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, support team understanding of project objectives, and encourage accountability among team members.
