Support the Display Design team in producing quality design solutions in line with project briefs and Metricon Design Philosophy.
Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders through active engagement, clear communication, training and coaching when required.
Conduct design reviews of working drawings and support site-related documentation requirements.

The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant degree or diploma in Building Design & Drafting, Diploma of Architectural Drafting or equivalent.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in residential design and/or drafting (volume home builder experience preferred)
* Proficiency in design software and tools relating to house design. Revit is essential.
* Proficiency with current versions Microsoft Office suite, and an aptitude for learning new systems.
* Understanding of building & planning codes and standards, including but not limited to the following:
* Construction process.
* Building regulations.
* Planning regulations.
* Design codes and developer guidelines.
* National construction code.
* Energy rating systems.
* Sustainability principles.
