About the Role We are seeking an experienced leader to take on the role of Branch Manager for WesTrac’s Tamworth operations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be accountable for the overall safety, financial and operational performance of the Branch. Your role will place a focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships whilst encouraging continuous improvement of all areas. You will collaborate with 8 direct reports and lead a team of approximately 60 comprised of administration, customer support and trades roles across workshop & field service personnel. Based at Tamworth, this role will require occasional travel to Head Office in Tomago or other branches across NSW/ACT. Key Responsibilities · Oversee branch operations· Control profits & losses and monitor monthly sales and service targets· Meet organisational goals through development of branch strategies · Provide leadership, direction and support to your team, utilising a values-driven approach · Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained through engaging in a safe, productive and customer-focused culture · Utilise and understand data to forecast, measure and improve branch performance · Be the point of escalation for customer queries · Build and maintain successful customer relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and regular customer visits · Oversee invoicing, Work in Progress (WIP) and warranty claims· Proactively schedule and train team members to ensure high productivity and workplace knowledge · Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure statewide customer coverage by sharing resources · Encourage continuous improvement opportunities within the business to ensure effective and efficient operation Skills & Experience· Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or mechanical trade background desirable · Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity · Experience with Caterpillar (or similar) equipment and exposure to a heavy industry · Highly developed commercial acumen with proven ability to manage customer relationships· Experience in an operational role with proven ability to boost performance · Ability to present in a professional manner with outstanding communication skills· Experience in both short and long-term maintenance and workshop planning (desirable)· Ability to lead high performing teams in changing environments Benefits· Competitive Remuneration Package vehicle incentive scheme· Made for More Rewards· Opportunities for career development· 12 Weeks Paid Parental Leave· Ability to purchase additional annual leave· RDO opt in available· Income protection covering you 24/7· Fitness Passport for the whole family· Refer a friend program – work alongside your mates and receive up to $3,000 for each successful referral!· Discounted CAT products· Wellness Program Apply NowIf you believe you have the skills and experience to succeed in this role, please submit your resume for consideration via the link.
