The Speech Express is a growing multidisciplinary paediatric clinic in Chirnside Park, Victoria. We provide speech pathology and occupational therapy services within a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming framework.
We are seeking a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our expanding OT team.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy, strong administrative support, and the opportunity to work within an innovative clinic that integrates evidence-based animal-assisted interventions into therapy where appropriate.

* 13 Speech Pathologists
* 2 Occupational Therapists
* 4 Therapy Assistants
* 3 Administration Team Members
We provide holistic, child-centred therapy addressing motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social skills and communication.
Our clinic integrates animal-assisted therapy in a structured and evidence-informed way. Our team has contributed to published research in this space, supporting the clinical value of animal-assisted interventions in paediatric therapy settings.
The Role
* Deliver paediatric occupational therapy services
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to holistic goal-setting alongside Speech Pathologists
* Option to integrate animal-assisted therapy ( support provided)
* Flexible days and caseload structure
* Full-time caseload available due to high demand

About You
You are:
* AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
* Experienced or confident working with paediatric clients
* Passionate about child-centred, evidence-based practice
* Collaborative and team-oriented
* Interested in creative and engaging therapy approaches
Experience with neurodivergent children is highly regarded. Prior experience with animal-assisted therapy is not required.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
* Current AHPRA registration
* Working With Children Check
* Police Check
* Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance
* Driver’s Licence
