About The Role
Reporting to the Manager | Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day customer service and administration of multiple property insurance claims. You will be in regular contact with clients, internal staff members and customers to keep them updated regarding their claims, ensuring a seamless claims process.
Key Activities
Process new claims, schedule estimators and submit quotes
Answer incoming calls & make outbound calls relating to claims
Update notes to internal and client systems
Prepare and provide documentation relating to the claim
Issue purchase orders to specialist trades
Approve incoming invoices from respective trades
Scope / contract amendments for presentation purposes
Essential Capabilities And Behaviours
Proven customer service and communication skills
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Ability to plan and prioritise
High level of computer competency
Claims experience (desirable)
Insurance and/or building industry experience (desirable)
As the insurance building sector is heavily influenced by insurable weather events, overtime is occasionally required during event times.
