**The role**
We have a position available for a Shire Liaison Coordinator to join the team. If you are an energetic and enthusiastic individual then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate your initiative and potential for growth by being well organised, confident and professional.
The key objective of the role is to lodge and track building submissions to both Shires and Developers, whilst providing ongoing support and customer service throughout the journey from the preconstruction to construction.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Delegate shire/developer requests to Drafting/Construction Coordinator/Sales Consultant
- Liaise with Private Certifiers regarding compliance
- Create variations if plans require amending upon receipt of Building License
- Planning submissions and justifications to council
- Liaising with council departments on R-code variations
**You**
To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences are essential:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative based roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly developed phone manner
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Have the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to read and interpret plans (desirable)
- Understanding Residential Design and Building Codes of Australia (preferred)
