Job Description:

>> The Sports Coach role involves overseeing and coordinating student sports at the school. This includes arranging and facilitating coaching/training sessions, transporting students to events and returning them safely to the school, closely supervising and supporting students at all times with an emphasis on child safety, equipment setup and packing up, and liaising with teaching staff and other sports coaches within the operating guidelines of the school.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate student sports.
* Coordinate and facilitate coaching/training sessions.
* Transport students to events and return them safely to the school.
* Closely supervise and support students at all times with an emphasis on child safety.
* Liaise with teaching staff and other sports coaches.
Requirements:

> To be successful in this role, you will need to appreciate all aspects of the school's philosophy, pastoral care, and general student management and wellbeing. You must also support the school, designated sport teams, and aim for success with your particular team. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with the development of a sporting plan for your particular sport and follow the skills, strategies, and team plays outlined by the teacher.
Skills and Qualifications:

> The incumbent must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. They must also be able to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best in sports. A background in education or sports coaching is highly desirable.
