We are urgently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team. Due to specific participant requests and personal care requirements, this role requires male support workers to ensure comfort and dignity for the individuals we support.

* Immediately hiring team with complex behaviour and PBSP experience
* Immediately hiring team for sleepover shifts in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses

What your Day-To-Day will look like:
* Daily Living: Assist individuals with disabilities, of all ages, to improve the capacity and capability using a person-centered approach
* Transport: Provide transport support to enable service users to access community and social activities, shopping, medical and specialists appointments
* Domestic Duties: in line with the participants service agreement, such as vacuuming, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping
* PBSP: Behavior Management Strategies and supporting individuals who have complex needs and challenging behaviours
* Personal Care: may include toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene and other personal hygiene care in some settings
Requirements of the role:
* Have true empathy & a positive attitude
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers and weekends
* Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or similar community services (minimum 6 months preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
* Completing daily shift notes, administration tasks and incident reports
* Willingness to work as a team & pick up additional shifts as required
* Hope & Healing Certificate for Youth (We can help with this)

Prior to commencement, and to be maintained at your own expense, you must be eligible to apply for or currently hold the following:
* QLD Working with Children Card - No Card/No Start
* NDIS Worker Screening Check - No Card/No Start
* Valid and current First Aid and CPR Certification
* Must have a valid Drivers Licence & Comprehensive Car Insurance
* Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
