Customer Service Representative Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team within a Government Agency.
In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by answering enquiries, booking appointments, assessing eligibility for payments, and undertaking processing and system entry activities related to customers' needs.
You will handle various matters regarding eligibility, participation, and ongoing access to payments and services for participants.
* Action planning tasks in line with relevant legislation to manage and resolve participant matters
* Provide support for the local office including participant enquiries on self-help kiosks and online platforms
* Resolve customer enquiries, provide information, and refer customers to appropriate government or community services
* Coordinate appointments using Agency office facilities
* Conduct research and investigation activities and prepare associated reports and correspondence
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in a customer service environment, preferably within a Government setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. They will also have strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and an interest in the Disability Sector.
