Venture Housing - Maintenance Coordinator
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Venture Housing is a not-for-profit registered Tier 1 community housing provider.
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of the organisation’s facilities, assets & equipment.
This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained and managed in accordance to legislation and regulations. The role coordinates and assists with maintenance requests, vendor services, project management, and logistics. The Maintenance Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for internal staff and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders
* Reviewing invoices and tracking maintenance expenditure
* Maintaining accurate records, asset data, and compliance documentation
* Able to communicate both verbally and written with other members of the Senior Management Team
* Create, issue & record work orders and assist with accounts processing.
* Coordinating service jobs end-to-end, ensuring all stages are tracked, documented and completed within legislative and regulatory time-frames.
* Work safely, following Venture's WHS policy and supporting a safety culture within the organisation
* Knowing, understanding, and interpreting Venture Housing's relevant policies, processes, and practice frameworks, including input into the development and review of operational policy and service improvements
About You
* Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously across different locations or sites.
* Exposure to contractor management and work order systems
* Team orientated and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
* High attention to detail and proven ability to work unsupervised.
* Minimum 1+ year experience in a service, trades, or customer-facing environment
* Willingness to learn and take ownership of service processes and systems
Experience and capability
Excellent computer literacy and proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of software effectively and efficiently
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues
* A great attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Experience working with vulnerable people is highly desirable
* Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
* Experience within private real estate highly desirable
