The Opportunity
As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in steering the financial health of the business. Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team, you'll deliver accurate reporting, support commercial decision-making, and ensure compliance while helping the business continue to scale globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, financial statements, and year-end accounts
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments with precision
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis and insights
* Ensure statutory compliance, including tax, payroll, BAS, and audit requirements
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful financial insights that influence decision-making
* Contribute to cash flow management and working capital monitoring
* Identify opportunities for process and system improvements that boost efficiency and accuracy
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and reporting as the business continues to expand globally
About You
You're a detail-oriented and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You love the balance of technical accounting and being a true business partner.
You'll bring:
* Degree Qualified
* Desire to complete CA or CPA qualifications
* Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements
* Excellent skills in Excel and accounting software (ERP experience highly regarded)
* Ability to analyse data, spot trends, and present insights in a clear, business-friendly way
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you enjoy working with people across all levels of the business
* A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
* A flexible, can-do approach — you're just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves for the details as you are contributing to strategic conversations
