The role

Investment Assistant Program Manager

Permanent Full Time • Salary package of $178,647 (includes base salary of $158,152 p.a plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading).

About the role

The Investment Assistant Program Manager leads the delivery of a program of minor capital works to meet strategic planning objectives and specified project outcomes. This role coordinates the successful delivery of high‐impact complex capital works projects across TAFE NSW, renewing existing infrastructure and creating new modern facilities to accommodate future enrolment growth and improve the student learning experience. The role oversees the delivery of an assigned program of minor capital works and related projects, collaborating with external project managers and design consultants to ensure outcomes align with the originating brief and meet stakeholder expectations and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage minor capital works projects from initiation to close.
  • Coordinate with external project managers and design consultants.
  • Ensure project outcomes align with briefs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of communication, detail orientation, and structured project planning.
  • Deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting quality and safety standards.

About You

  • Significant experience managing and delivering multiple complex projects in live environments.
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Program Management, or equivalent significant experience.
  • At least 3‐5 years of delivery of Minor Capital Works programs and/or related projects.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and structured planning skills.
