**Purpose of the Position**
To ensure consistent and effective implementation of merchandising and visual display standards across the brand including training store teams.
**_ Duties_**
**_ Key Performance Indicators_**
**Visual Merchandising**
- Ensure visual merchandising, housekeeping and store presentation in line with brand standards and VM direction
- Housekeeping standards in line with checklists and audits and engaging
- Ensure all allocated stores receive a weekly merchandising visit as per your agreed schedule
- Stores merchandised in accordance with National VM standards as detailed in VM Manual and Bulletins
**Customer Experience**
- Deliver premium Customer Experience by ensuring all stores are merchandised to reflect National direction and VMB.
- Ensure all stores are merchandised prior to store events, visits and promotional activities.
- VM in all stores are in line with company standards and agreed timelines.
**Learning and Development**
- Provide on-site coaching of VM techniques as part of daily store visits.
- Assist State VM Manager in fortnightly retail team
- Implementation of VM standards by Retail team members in accordance with National VM guidelines.
**Stock Management**
- Management of stock received and stock sent (including transfers) to minimise shrinkage
- Loss prevention/theft awareness
- Plan and conduct efficient stock-take as per company guidelines and procedures
- Identify primary position for stock placement and ensure space utilisation is in line with brand directive.
- Store audit reports from SSM confirm VM guidelines in place in all store locations.
**Policies and Procedures**
- All policies and procedures updated on the intranet are read, understood and communicated to team
- All Company Policies and Procedures adhered to by all
**Relationships**
- Establish productive working relationships with key management team members internally and externally such as; David Jones, Myer and Centre Management
- Work with Retail/VM team to maximise sales
- Productive relationships demonstrated
**WHS**
- Take reasonable care for your own and others health and safety; cooperate by ensuring a safe workplace and notify of any WHS concerns
- Comply with APG & Co WH&S Policy and Procedures in all store locations
- Conduct/Attend refresher training when required
- Compliant with WH&S Policy and Procedures
- WH&S training and refreshers conducted/completed
**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**
- Passion and experience in retail and/or service environment
- Experience and/or Training in Visual Merchandising
- Strong communication skills and basic numeric + literacy skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours & can accommodate late and early shift requirements
- Documentation to prove right to live and work in Australia
