Enhance profitability in your assigned territory by developing and maintaining strong partnerships. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating both new and existing relationships to drive business growth.
* Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets while adhering to financial plans.
* Oversee debtors/accounts receivable according to established policies.
* Identify users of competitive brands and develop strategies to showcase the advantages of our products.
* Support distributor sales activities and ensure accurate product recommendations while following proper safety procedures.
* Foster strong connections with PPG personnel and Distribution Network.
* Monitor and assess growth of current customers and distributors to enhance share of wallet.
* Follow pricing initiatives to provide necessary profit contribution.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry groups.
* Identify opportunities to expand into underrepresented segments and geographies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* A strong emphasis on customer service is required.
* Technical knowledge of refinish & Industrial paint products and application techniques is desirable.
* Prior experience with competitor products can be advantageous.
* Possessing a trade qualification in spray painting and refinish industry is desirable. Additionally, negotiation and presentation skills are important.
