The Opportunity
As a Customer Service Officer, you will support customers and their families to understand and access appropriate care and services. This role is the first point of contact providing a smooth, timely, and person-centred response to all enquiries, promoting & increasing community awareness of Carrington's service streams, and ensuring easy access to information about our services. Our programs include community care, independent retirement living, assisted living and residential aged care.
This role is a full-time onsite opportunity working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm on our picturesque campus in semi-rural Grasmere.
Responsibilities:
* Serving as the first point of contact for all service enquiries, ensuring they are handled in a person-centred & timely manner.
* Ensuring all enquiries are recorded appropriately in Carrington's CRM to support resolution and ensure support continuity.
* Coordinating engagement activities with residents and the broader community to support service access
* Supporting promotional activities, including facility tours, fairs, local networking & industry events.
* Preparing contracts and service agreements in line with Carrington's policies and procedures.
Delivering operational & administrative activities of the Customer Service Team.
About You
Essential Criteria:
* Experience providing high quality, empathetic customer service.
* Experience in a varied & diverse administration role
* Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, attention to detail, & record keeping skills
* Demonstrated ability to explain and promote services to clients
* Effective stakeholder management, written & verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work effectively within time constraints.
* Demonstrated computer skills, including MS Suite & CRM.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously.
* Unrestricted right to work in Australia and willingness to obtain a background check (NDIS Worker Check).
Desirable:
* Qualifications in Business Administration.
Experience in the aged care, disability or health industry.
