About the role:
The Modular Maintenance team is currently seeking Material Logistics Officers to join them on an 8/6 days only roster based at the Roy Hill Mine. This is a 12-month contract opportunity, which will be engaged through a labour hire partner under a contractor arrangement.
Reporting to the Supervisor Material Logistics, you will be responsible for ensuring effective management and coordination of all shutdown-related materials, equipment hire, refuelling, and logistics activities.
Duties:
* Coordinate the receipt, inspection, staging, and accurate inventory of all shutdown materials, including surplus management and warehouse support
* Manage daily updates to the Hire Equipment Jira board, ensuring asset accuracy, status tracking, and processing of new hire requests and extensions
* Act as the primary contact for hire vendors, overseeing equipment deliveries, collections, breakdowns, and vendor liaison
* Perform daily refuelling and yard operations, including fuel usage reconciliation, washdown bay maintenance, and equipment certification
* Manage daily shutdown parts yard operations, including receipt, inspection, staging, inventory control, surplus management, and warehouse support
Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in materials handling, logistics, and shutdown operations
* C Class Drivers Licence
* SAP experience
* Forklift, EWP, Telehandler qualifications desirable
