About the role Participate in the company's future strategies Set and review inventory and financial targets for the department Oversee the production process and manage the critical path to ensure delivery is maintained Manage the OTB targets for the department, and re-allocate the budget accordingly to maximise performance Participate and plan accordingly for range reviews, category plans, replans, promotional planning, option planning, planograms, store grading, allocations and replenishment Manage in-season and post-season performance, working with the Buyers and Planners on strategies moving forward, to identify best practice, lessons learnt, and improve performance Identify emerging trends and changing customer needs and market conditions appropriate to the category Manage, coach and develop the Planning team, including Planners and Assistant/Junior Planners Skills and experience This role would be great for a strong and established Planning Manager, to be successful for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience: Operating as an Planing Manager within a retailer Some indirect or direct line management experience OTB and WSSI management across your own categories/departments Option and range planning experience Honed IT systems and Excel skills, including Macros, Pivot Tables and V Look-Ups Commercial acumen with strong analytical skills Influencing and engaging both internal and external stakeholders effectively Apply today to hear more!
