Senior Project Engineer Role

About The Role
In this position, you will play an integral role in managing and resolving the detail design of the building facade, whilst managing a team, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining construction program
* Implementing the procurement strategy
* Value engineering
* Managing quality
* Overseeing financial and contract management
* Ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times
You will provide guidance to junior staff on site.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience working on-site in construction delivery
* Experience working on large scale building projects, ideally above $100m, and experience managing building facade packages
* Experience overseeing cost, quality, and environmental controls, and ensuring compliance and progress reporting
* Experience developing and maintain project programmes and ensuring effective planning and execution
* Experience resolve design issues and providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to identify problems and come up with creative solutions
