About The Role
Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side‐by‐side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.
What You'll Do
* Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
* Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
* Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
* Carry out all pre‐start and handover routines for the vehicle
* Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
* Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
* You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
* Full training and assessment in operating our trolley collection vehicles
What You'll Bring
* An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people to a promising role with room to grow your career
* You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence
* Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
* Availability to work across Monday‐Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
* A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
