VTG Waste & Recycling is looking for an experienced Front-End Loader Operator to join the team at a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly support recycling operations and environmental outcomes.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for operating a front-end loader to move, sort, and manage recyclable materials within the MRF. This includes feeding processing equipment, maintaining stockpiles, and keeping the site clean and operational.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate front-end loader safely and efficiently in a waste/recycling environment
* Load and feed materials into conveyors and processing equipment
* Manage and maintain stockpiles of recyclable materials
* Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipment
* Maintain housekeeping standards across the facility
* Work closely with the operations team to keep the site running smoothly
* Follow all WHS procedures and environmental requirements
What We're Looking For
* Experience operating a front-end loader
* Relevant tickets/certificates (RII or equivalent)
* Strong focus on safety and hazard awareness
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
* Willingness to assist with general site duties when required
