What We're Looking For
We value the right attitude, passion, and willingness to learn just as much as technical skill. If you have most of the following, we'd love to hear from you:
* Experience in a commercial kitchen (leadership experience highly regarded for Sous and Junior Sous roles).
* Confidence working across different sections and maintaining high standards.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Role Responsibilities Include
* Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations and take charge in their absence.
* Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during service to maintain quality, timing, and consistency.
* Assist with menu planning, recipe testing, and seasonal updates.
* Train and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and proper storage procedures.
* Assist with rostering and workflow planning to ensure efficient service.
* Maintain food safety compliance and cleanliness across all sections.
