As a Casual Youth Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides trauma-informed care and support to children and young people in our Out of Home Care program. Your role is crucial in helping them heal, grow, and build a brighter future - every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Assist with personal care, education, social activities, and independent living skills to empower them to reach their full potential.
* Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment that fosters positive relationships and promotes healthy development.
* Offer trauma-informed and positive behavior support when challenges arise, using evidence-based practices to guide your approach.

Requirements
* No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or willingness to obtain one, which we can assist with.
* A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
* An NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* A National Police Check (we will complete this for successful applicants).
* A valid open driver's license.
