IT Solutions team's primary mission is create solutions that empower service teams to collaborate at high velocity, allowing them to respond to business changes and provide great customer and employee experiences fast. We manage Atlassian's service management portfolio and its flagship solution: Jira Service Management.
Reporting to the Group Program Manager (IT Solutions), you will join a team of program managers who boost the effectiveness of our teams by connecting strategy to action, delivering programs and driving operational effectiveness across our organisation.
**What you'll do**:
- Deliver and operationalise programs to secure effective scalability of IT Solutions team and business rhythm
- Orchestrate the important planning milestones for ongoing management of the IT Solutions Roadmap
- Partner closely with Group Program Manager & Products Group leadership to drive strategic business programs (portfolio level planning, scaling and reporting).
- Develop dashboards in Atlassian tools and provide insights for data-driven decision-making - including portfolio health, team health, engineering metrics and recruitment data.
- Coach junior program management team members
- Monitor and improve department's, squad and teams' health using existing monitoring practices and escalate"hot spots".
- Negotiate across many teams to develop programme roadmaps and manage complex dependencies.
- Support the organisation and facilitation of relevant ongoing rituals to support IT Solutions leadership e.g. workshops.
- Own and run IT Solutions Townhalls and other events to bring the team together, increase connection and celebrate wins.
**You background**:
- Extensive professional experience, demonstrating success as a program manager with globally distributed teams.
- Demonstrated experience operationalising processes at scale (setting appropriate expectations, crisp execution, and on-time delivery).
- Outstanding track record building relationships and influencing without authority that can inspire action across teams.
- Experience defining and tracking towards success metrics.
- Comfortable managing team logistics and events.
- You are passionate about exploring and delivering organisation effectiveness to increase velocity, quality and team health.
- You promote a healthy 'measure twice, cut once' decision-making culture
- You know when to run with something on your own and when to ask for help
