Superior Home Health Services are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Home and Community Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Sunshine Coast Region - Buderim and Sippy Downs area in QLD. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You can demonstrate client-focused behavior, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working within a person-centered, enabling workplace that respects the rights and needs of each client;
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
- Providing support with social and recreational activities;
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
- Responding to emergency situations; and
- Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care/Aged Care or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Medication Assistance (desirable)
- A reliable, well-maintained vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)
- Community experience, 1 year +

Pay: $40.00 – $43.00 per hour
