We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic senior economists to join our Economist Practice team.
Our team is a specialist area within International, Support and Programs, and is proudly recognised as one of the strongest transfer pricing practices in Australia. We play a key role in advising on complex international tax matters, with a strong focus on transfer pricing, base erosion and profit shifting.
As a Senior Transfer Pricing Economist, you will provide independent economic advice, to ensure cross-border transactions align with the arm's length principle - ultimately ensuring the right amount of tax is collected in Australia in accordance with Australian tax law. You may also contribute to the development of international tax strategies and one-to-many approaches, that will support taxpayers in complying with their transfer pricing obligations.
You will lead a dynamic and vibrant team at the forefront of shaping the landscape of transfer pricing and profit shifting compliance. You will operate in a fast-paced environment to identify, analyse and resolve highly complex transfer pricing risks, and may lead strategies to effectively address and resolve these risks. You will manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support our training on economic or technical matters, including preparation and presentation of training programs.
Additionally, you may have the opportunity to be actively involved in international development activities, including SGATAR, Outreach and OECD Global Relations.
We embrace the strength of diversity - through our people and the perspectives they bring. We are committed to inclusive recruitment practices and encourage applications from people with disability or neurodivergence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and individuals from all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the recruitment process.
