The Opportunity
An opportunity for an accomplished Senior Contract Administrator to take full commercial ownership of multiple major projects within the education, health, childcare and government spaces. You'll join a trusted delivery team managing projects throughout metropolitan Sydney, with direct exposure to senior leadership and client representatives. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance, and risk mitigation across technically complex projects ranging from $10M–$50M in value.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all head contract and subcontractor agreements, from procurement through close-out
* Administering variations, progress claims, and payment schedules with precision and compliance
* Preparing and maintaining project cost reports, forecasts, and cashflow tracking
* Supporting risk management, value engineering, and project reporting functions
* Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and delivery teams to resolve scope, design, or commercial issues
* Providing leadership and mentorship to junior contract administrators and project engineers
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
* 7 + years' experience in contract administration or commercial management within construction
* Proven background working on complex commercial projects, preferably education, healthcare, or institutional projects
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage multi-million-dollar contracts
* Experience with Jobpac highly desirable
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Detail-focused and proactive, with a strong understanding of construction law and compliance
