* Contract position for approximately 10 months
The Role
This role will see you increase viewership of ABC content by developing creative high-quality digital assets for ABCs third-party platforms to support the promotion of genre content and drive audience growth engagement and brand recognition.
You'll edit adapt and enhance screen content for digital platforms ensuring it is optimised for audience engagement across a range of social and digital channels.
You'll develop short-form videos to support key ABC programs talent and events for third-party platforms. You'll also script shoot edit and package video content for digital distribution ensuring output is optimised for target platforms and audience behaviours.
You will collaborate with Audiences to monitor performance of posts to inform ongoing engagement and feed information back to social producers and digital leads.

About You
To excel in this position you'll have considerable experience working in digital / social media roles including developing and executing strategic creative and effective content and campaigns across a range of platforms informed by relevant analytics.
You will be able to demonstrate awareness of the childrens and family programming schedule at the ABC showing knowledge of the breadth and depth of content on offer.
You'll have proven experience and strong understanding of end-to-end video production for social platforms and knowledge of how to optimise content for different social platforms.
You'll have experience applying copyright licensing and other legal considerations relevant to digital publishing.
You're a strong communicator with excellent time management skills as well as the ability to juggle multiple content deliverables and meet deadlines.
