About the Role
The Clinical Lead for Speech and Language Pathology holds a pivotal position responsible for providing comprehensive clinical leadership, governance, and oversight to our team of Speech and Language Pathologists. The role focuses on enhancing best‐practice standards, fostering practitioner development, and ensuring top‐tier clinical services across all Royal Rehab locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to empower customers with complex allied health needs.
* Deliver customised Speech and Language pathology services aligned with organisational values and a person‐centred, strength‐based approach.
* Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Speech and Language Pathologists, optimising client plans and leading training sessions.
* Collaborate with multi‐disciplinary teams to develop personalised treatment plans, involving families and caregivers.
* Conduct and complete therapeutic reports, functional and therapy assessments, and information gathering relevant to NDIS.
* Maintain clinical standards, create resources, conduct routine audits for quality assurance, and stay updated on advances in speech therapy.
Essential Criteria
* Registered with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
* Tertiary level qualifications in Speech Therapy.
* Proven experience leading, mentoring and motivating a team.
* Excellent organisation and time‐management skills.
* Strong commitment to customer‐centred care.
* High motivation and positive attitude.
* Current driver's licence.
