This position will be located at the new Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services facility, which is introducing a new on‐demand Food Service model supported by an Electronic Patient Menu Management System (ePMMS). The purpose of this role is to assist in the provision of a high‐quality nutrition and food service to patients of the hospital by assisting in the preparation, plating, presentation and delivery of meals utilising effective teamwork as part of a supportive team environment.
About You
* Food service experience or the ability to acquire these skills
* Ability to organise tasks in an efficient manner to meet the time requirements of the meal service schedule
* Understanding of, or an ability to acquire knowledge of local policy and procedures pertaining to Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety
* Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to problem‐solve and use initiative, work with minimum supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team
Mandatory Requirements
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
