Your new role As an experienced procurement professional, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Procurement and Supply Chain (P&SC) Business Plan. You will be supporting the Strategic Sourcing Manager by delivering the Procurement and Supply Chain (P&SC) business plan, business as usual, strategic and high-risk/sensitive projects. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides advisory services to support all other engagements and is responsible for all queries and service requests including source to contract, contract management, procure to pay, probity, spend, procurement system related, and supplier management. Responsible for spend-insight and benchmarking against business objectives, key performance indicators, and purchasing compliance. Responsible for active stakeholder engagement to understand their business plan, related procurement, and contract management activities and responsible for engaging regularly with stakeholders to establish collaborative working relationships that are focused on identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Responsible for end-to-end supplier management, including ensuring that relationships with key strategic suppliers are managed in accordance with the company's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework. Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager with the maintenance of P&SC documentation in collaboration with the P&SC Managers. Responsible for undertaking high-level strategic negotiations, providing expert advice, and resolving complex risks in contracts. Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager with the management of procurement/tender workflows, procurement inbox (communication between the potential/current supplier, the business, and our team). Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager with related audit actions, including undertaking risk assessments and implementing management actions and recommendations. Lead market research to gain deep insights into the supply chain, risks, buyer behaviours, and other issues (e.g., legislation, policies) that impact contracts. Actively participate in training and development to improve effectiveness as a high-performing team. What you'll need to succeed A degree and/or professional qualification in law, finance, management, economics, commerce, or an equivalent discipline is essential. Postgraduate qualifications in Procurement and Supply Chain or a related discipline are desirable. A valid WA Driver's License Class "C" or "C-A" is essential. Relationship management skills and the ability to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external. High level of proficiency with MS Systems and Procurement Systems (SAP, Oracle, Ellipse). Experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities, including defining the business case and requirements, and realising value through implementing changes efficiently and effectively.
