Objectives of a Financial Standard Journalist
Maintain and grow our reputation for excellence in news coverage and research.
Assist in generating content for Financial Standard, including online, print, video, and podcasts.
Participate in improving the Financial Standard editorial offerings and support related group activities.
Act as an ambassador for Financial Standard, enhancing the company’s reputation and brand.
Responsibilities
Generate two to four articles daily for online and print editions.
Write in-depth and investigative feature articles and profiles.
Oversee the production of journals and podcasts.
Attend media conferences and industry events as directed.
Raise the profile of Financial Standard.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media studies, finance, or related fields.
At least 1 year of experience in financial journalism, preferably digital media; print experience is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong networking abilities.
Ability to maintain ethical and objective reporting standards.
Strong idea generation and fact-checking skills.
Interest in financial services and understanding of its societal impact.
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Knowledge of responsible investing and corporate sustainability is advantageous.
