Group 6 Metals Limited is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our operations at the Dolphin Tungsten Mine on remote and rugged King Island, Tasmania. This is a permanent, ongoing opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a unique and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
The role will focus on the coordination of travel and accommodation. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination of transport and accommodation logistics for our growing workforce of approximately 100 people. This role is ideal for a professional with strong administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced operational setting.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Coordinating commercial and charter flights to and from King Island for the FIFO workforce.
* Managing roster updates and communicating changes with internal stakeholders, including our Camp and Catering Management team.
* Organising and supporting airport transfers – a valid Australian driver's licence is required (manual licence highly desirable).
* Developing and improving systems and processes to streamline travel and accommodation logistics.
* Supporting business continuity by responding quickly and effectively to delays, disruptions, and urgent travel requests.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven administrative or logistics coordination experience, preferably in remote, mining, construction, or similar industries.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the flow-on effects of scheduling changes.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
