Positive Behaviour Support Role
We are seeking an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.
About the Position
This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to make a difference in the lives of adolescents and adults with various diagnoses and presentations.
* Evaluate, develop and deliver evidence-based positive behaviour support plans and interventions
* Conduct assessments for participants of all ages and abilities
* Develop, deliver and monitor strategies for managing behaviours of concern
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
* Complete reports and work towards goals within NDIS plans
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant tertiary qualification
* Assessment by the NDIS as a Core or above Behaviour Support Practitioner
* A valid Australian driver's licence
* Unrestricted Australian work rights
You will be supported by your clinical team leader and work in an interdisciplinary system alongside speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and therapy assistants.
