Residential option to live on Groote Eylandt considered. As the Principal Projects, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of capital projects, ensuring compliance with governance, safety and technical standards.Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:Oversee design, procurement & construction across the assigned portfolioDirect & coordinate internal teams, consultants & contractorsManage contracts, tenders & stakeholder relationshipsMonitor risks, performance & project documentation throughout lifecycleABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Leading complex, multi-disciplinary capital projects, ideally within miningMentoring and developing diverse teams, including new starters and contractorsNavigating tollgate approval processes to meet governance and project milestonesRemaining adaptable, patient & solutions-focused in a growing team settingBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders & contractorsQualifications for this position are:Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related fieldProject Management certification (e.g. PMP or equivalent) - DesirableCurrent ‘C’ Class Driver’s LicenceSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
