At Datacom, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support in a fast-paced environment.
You will assist new users with their IT hardware collection and setup, ensuring that all equipment is up-to-date and deployment-ready prior to release to customers.
This is an onsite role in Gosford where you will work closely with our customers to deliver tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.
The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of laptops, desktop PCs, printers, media and audio-visual equipment and mobility devices.
You will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate technical information to the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent technical support in a high-paced environment
* Assist new users with their IT hardware collection and setup
* Ensure new equipment is up-to-date and deployment ready prior to release to customers
* Record all customer contacts in the appropriate ITSM tool
* Keep customers updated with regards to their tickets
* Use tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
Requirements:
* Exceptional customer experience with regard to end user services
* The ability to prioritise work to ensure achievement of all service level agreements
* Sound knowledge of Laptops, Desktop PC's, printers, media and audio-visual equipment and mobility devices
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
