The Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN) is committed to improving the care provided to our patients in line with our vision of Working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
The CHW Engineering and Maintenance Services Department aims to provide high quality customer focused repair and preventative maintenance services to the Children's Hospital at Westmead and other site facilities to support the safe, efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. It is also responsible for ensuring Hospital operations satisfy the Government Energy Management Policy (GEMP) and Hospital Assets are managed in accordance to DOH guidelines and Health AMMS (Assets Management Maintenance System) requirements.
This position provides an effective, efficient and compliant maintenance service for the grounds of the gardens of the Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) and associated sites within the Campus, including but not restricted to the Child Care Centre, The Lodge and riverside garden surrounding Ronald McDonald House.
The position is also responsible for carrying out necessary works associated with new plantings and landscaping works
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience in a multifaceted maintenance operation environment including experience working with Building Management Control Systems.
* Has experience interpreting control circuitry.
* Has excellent customer service skills.
