We're looking for a UI/UX designer to help design screens for an application that runs on our IoT safety devices. The role is suited to someone at a junior or mid‑level who can work within an existing design system and keep the output clean, consistent and practical.
You'll be using the design system from our mobile app project as the foundation, so the direction is already in place. The work is focused and well scoped.
What you'll be doing
Designing high‑fidelity screens, responsive layouts, and end‑to‑end user flows for our IoT device application.
Work in Figma using an established design system, expanding it to the new product and adding new reusable components as needed.
Prepare organized, development‑ready handover files.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams as features move through build.
Maintain consistency and quality across all user touchpoints by following brand guidelines, design system and UX best practices.
What we're looking for
* Ability to think in systems and components, not just individual screens
* Be fluent in Figma
* Comfortable to work within and expand an existing design system
* Strong attention to detail
* Be able to communicate clearly with product and engineering teams
Bonus
Experience with mobile or embedded interfaces
The setup
* 3‑month contract
* Remote is fine if you work to Melbourne hours
